Community Workshops
The PYRC runs a regular schedule of public workshops in collaboration with the Brooklyn Psychedelic Society and through the Psychedelic Yoga Meetup. These workshops serve a dual purpose — they offer direct benefit to participants, and they generate real-world feedback that informs PYRC's methodology development. Every community workshop is designed to be grant-application-ready, with validated pre/post instruments and consent language built into the participant experience from day one.
Spring 2026 BPS Workshop Series
Psychedelic Breathing — March 8 (completed)
Pranayama toolkit for psychedelic preparation, in-journey support, and integration. Breathwork practices ranging from grounding box breathing to shamanic pranayama, bookended by somatic awareness scans and yoga nidra.
Vibrations in the Body — April 11
Live didgeridoo and sound-based practices exploring how timbre and vibration support interoceptive awareness — feeling the body from the inside. Grounding, chakra-based embodiment, and the physics of resonance.
Yoga of the Senses — May 14
Heightened sensory awareness as both preparation for psychedelic experience and a direct gateway to non-ordinary states. Practices include nail board standing (safe, optional, and deeply grounding), mindful tasting, and sensory attention exercises.
Psychedelic Yoga Meetup
The Psychedelic Yoga Meetup is a 5,200+ member community hosting regular online and in-person programming — workshops on breathwork, lucid dreaming, consciousness, and psychedelic integration. Over 110 workshops delivered since 2023. These community workshops are PYRC programming — they are how we develop, test, and share practices with the wider community.
