ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP
Internal Family Systems is one of the most widely practiced approaches in psychedelic-assisted therapy — and one of the most body-aware. IFS understands the mind as a collection of sub-personalities or "parts," each carrying its own emotions, memories, and motivations. The therapist's role is to help the client access Self — a state of calm, curiosity, and compassion from which healing happens naturally.
In this workshop, physical therapist and psychedelic integration specialist Bill Gallagher shares his approach to IFS in psychedelic therapy contexts — where he sees its power, where he encounters its limits, and what he's learned working with parts in non-ordinary states. The PYRC psychedelic yoga team then introduces body-mind practices developed specifically for IFS-informed work: breathwork, somatic awareness techniques, and embodied tools designed to support parts work before, during, and after psychedelic experiences.
This is not a lecture about IFS. It's a live collaboration — a creative exploration between an experienced practitioner and a team of yogis trained to develop practices for therapeutic contexts. The practices you receive in this workshop don't exist anywhere else.
WHAT YOU'LL TAKE AWAY
Body-mind practices — grounded in both yogic and clinical experience — that you can bring to your work with clients and to your own life. Each practice is designed specifically for the therapeutic approach featured in this session. They don't exist anywhere else.No prior yoga or meditation experience is needed.

FORMAT
Each 2.5-hour workshop follows this arc: the co-presenting healer shares their therapeutic approach and where they see untapped potential; the psychedelic yoga team demonstrates body-mind practices developed specifically for that approach; and together — presenters and participants — we explore how these tools land in real clinical contexts. Small-group breakout rooms ensure every participant has space to engage directly.

2.5 CE credits through the Spiritual Competency Academy (APA-approved provider). CE credits are offered as an add-on and are not included in the base ticket price.

PART OF A SERIES
This workshop is part of Body-Mind Tools for Psychedelic Healing: A Workshop Series for Therapists and Healers — six workshops running May through August 2026.
Each workshop pairs the PYRC psychedelic yoga team with a different experienced healer. Together they develop body-mind practices tailored to that healer's therapeutic approach.
